History
The Know The Truth™ Prevention Program (KTT) was first launched in 2006 by Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge (MnTC) to prevent youth substance use. KTT provides prevention education and services to youth, parents, educators, and community members through personal stories of recovery and collaborative educational trainings.
2021
In 2021, the MN Prevention & Recovery Alliance (MnPRA) was established as a standalone 501c3 organization to enhance and expand prevention and recovery services in Minnesota. MnPRA took over operations of Know The Truth™ Prevention Program and other recovery programs to increase their impact under a statewide recovery community organization.
2022
Since 2022, MnPRA has been a credentialed statewide recovery community organization, offering prevention and peer recovery support services to youth and adults throughout Minnesota. We collaborate with service providers, recovery organizations, and community leaders to provide a network of resources and support for those impacted by substance use and related issues.
